Born in Edmonton Helen has been an EAC member for over 20 years, she also organized and is active in the Laurier Heights Art group. Helen was insiped 25 years ago while attending the UofA's spring session for older adults(now ELLA). The courses are three weeks a year, 3 hours a day learning from some of Edmontons finest painters. She participated until age caught up at 93! Helen participated in many art shows, workshops, and always enjoyed mountain painting trips. She also managed the art work on the main floor of the Misrecordia hospital for years.
