Lorie Meyer

Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Lorie created Earthworks Pottery, producing high fire porcelain and white stoneware that was exhibited in shops across Western Canada.

While living in Larnaca Cyprus, Lorie began to explore other mediums to express her creative passion. She was introduced to Mosaics and then painting emerged.

On her return to Canada, Lorie moved and began working from her studio overlooking Lake Okanagan in Penticton, BC for nine years developing her painting style.

It was here that she discovered the beauty of watercolours to express her love of nature. When the pandemic struck, Lorie wanted to be close to family and to also provide support to her growing family of four grandchildren all under four years of age.

Lorie is embracing this change and welcomes the challenge of finding new beginnings.

Lorie currently holds the position of Exhibit Committee Organizer for the Edmonton Art Club.
