Donna Chamberland

Donna has been interested in art since childhood and, as a teenager in Wetaskiwin, attended University of Alberta Department of Extension Courses and the Banff School of Fine Arts. She has studied with instructors Professor H. Wolhfarth, Harry Savage, Alfred Schmidt, Paul Braid, Giselle Feldsberg and Doug Barrie. She later taught Beginner Classes for the Department of Extention in Olds, Trochu, Three Hills and St. Paul.

In recent years, Donna has painted almost exclusively in watercolours and has taken courses with Albert Schmidt, Linda Dahl, Brent Heighton, Harold Olsen and Gregg Johnson. She also participated in painting tours to Indonesia (Bali) and Southern Italy with Harry Heine and Dave Maclagan.

Her paintings hang in homes and offices throughout Alberta, British Columbia, Great Britain and the United States. A number of paintings have been purchased for presentation to visiting dignitaries.

Donna currently holds the position of Workshop Organizer for the Edmonton Art Clulb.
