I’m a digital illustrator who frequently enjoys forays into new mediums. With acrylics, I enjoy painting the scenery around Alberta or from my travels. Whether it's an ordinary summer day at Terwillegar Dog Park or a memorable trip hiking in Banff, I hope to communicate my awe at the natural world around us as well as the beauty and peace of quiet moments.

My Knot series pays homage to the intricate craftsmanship of traditional folk art such as Celtic knot carvings, Mongolian embroidery, and Tibetan Thangka paintings. In our modern lives, I often feel the pressure to optimize time-saving and cost-cutting. The value of creating slowly, with patience and consideration, is difficult to measure. I hope my knot paintings invite the viewer to trace through the patterns, and ponder on the symbolism of the colours and details, as I did while painting them.
