I’m originally from Australia and I came to Canada to teach with the Edmonton Public School Board. It was not until several years after my retirement that I tried and immediately fell in love with watercolour painting.

I’ve pursued  this enthusiasm for  watercolour and for Alberta’s landscapes by taking Fine Arts courses in the Extension Department of the University of Alberta, by reading extensively, by painting with Ottewell Neighbours, and  by hunting Fine Arts for countless hours on the internet.

  I am now following the advice of many  artists, more experienced than I  -  paint, paint and paint

.  When a viewer shares my view of a landscape,  I have the energy for many more paintings.
