Anne McCartney: Biography/ Statement / Resume My passion has always been with the Arts, whether in art, dance, or music. Painting started as a hobby in 2000 to fill time while my family was on sabbatical leave in Australia, what else is one to do in a strange country while the rest of their family is busy with school and work!!!. It became a love and is now a career. I love the freshness of watercolor and the commitment one needs to make to the page when starting. There is little room for change in watercolor.
My paintings hang in many homes across Canada, the United States and Europe.
